the second most practiced sport in the world came to sioux city today. the annual iowa judo state championships brought competitors from all over the state to siouxland. the championship included categories for boys and girls, adult competitors, and open rank competition. judo is a sport involving throws and pins for children and chokes and joint locks for adults. judo instructors say it's more than the competition though-- it's the character building skills that really matter. ktiv's tommie clark went to the championship and spoke with several competitors
